Frederick "Fritz" Wenck DDS
Raised: in Evanston and Wilmette, Ill. (near Chicago)Degrees: in Bachelors of Science from St. Bonaventure University, Olean, N.Y. (near Buffalo), and a dental degree from Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago.
Practice: 4 yrs US NAVY South Lake Tahoe since 1970
Board Member of Lake Tahoe Community College since it’s founding in 1974.
7 children: 3 daughters, 4 sons, and 4 grandchildren
Hobbies: bicycling, hiking, reading, and traveling.
Recently we moved back into our completely remodeled dental office. We now occupy the entire second floor of our building; it has elevator and handicap access. The office has a light and cheerful look. Several people have commented that it is the nicest dental office in Tahoe.
In early March of 2006 my wife Patience returned from 14 months active duty with the US Army at the regional medical center in Landstule, Germany. As of Oct 22, 2006 she was promoted to full colonel; she continues to work as a nurse practitioner for Tahoe Women care.
My oldest daughter, Kelary continues to work ½ day in the office after the birth in August 2005 of her second son, Kaden.
I'm trying to furnish my new office with art work from local Tahoe artist, so come on in and check the beautiful work.
I and my office staff are committed to bringing you the finest and latest in dental care in a very modern setting.
Our office is the only office in Tahoe offering two new dental developments:
1. PERIO PROTECT TM Method. It is painless, easy, effective, and reliable. It is used in place of gum surgery. It delivers an effective concentration of medication deep into tooth pockets on a daily basis.
2. HOMEOBLOCK. It is an orthodontic appliance for adults. This device has a regulatory concept of only wearing the appliance at night to straighten your teeth, and improve your smile and facial appearance.

Lori KingOffice Manager
I have been a dental office manager for twenty years, and have worked for Dr. Wenck since 1994. I try to get as much money from your insurance company as possible.
I will go to bat for your insurance rights. I enjoy movies, off road recreation, and road trips with my teenager son and my dog.
Kelary Wenck HethertonOffice Assistant. Bilingual in Spanish.
I have been employed with my father since Oct. '04 as an office assistant, mostly helping with recall and Spanish speaking patients. A few years ago I married Jon Hetherton of Hetherton Insurance agency, and moved back to Tahoe after 18 years. In August '05 I had my second son. The boys keep me very busy, but I still love to travel, reading, eating good food, skiing, movies, and swimming.
Esmeralda HernandezDental Assistant. Bilingual in Spanish.
I came to work for Dr. Wenck in 2002 after completing the dental assistant program at Lake Tahoe Community College. Presently I'm back at the College taking courses for admission to a dental hygiene school in Georgia as Brooke Wenck did. I enjoy snowshoeing, skiing, hiking, bike riding, and watching foreign movies.
Cheri Da ReDental Hygienist
I have been a dental hygienist for over 30 years. I have worked on the East Coast, Midwest, and South California, but I love it here in Tahoe the best. My husband and I have two homes, one in Tahoe and one in Placerville. He currently works for UPS in Sacramento. We really enjoy our two dogs, Lucy and Roxy, specially taking them out in the great outdoors of Tahoe. We also have 4 grandchildren. 2 girls ages 7 and 2, and 2 boys ages 5 and 9 months.
Sarahi FloresDental Assistant
I graduated from the dental assistant program al LTCC, and have been working for Dr. Wenck since 2005. My goal is go to Dental School and come back to Tahoe and work as a dentist (maybe purchase Dr. Wenck's practice). Right now I'm taking classes at LTCC to meet the admission requirements. My hobbies are hiking and playing piano.
